In the spring of 1999, Partita Custom Design Jewelry opened its doors in the Marina District of San Francisco, CA. Partita’s owners, Beverly and Calvin Lee, were inspired to offer high-quality, traditionally-made jewelry, with a specialty in custom-made pieces. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, opening Partita was also a way to bring together an impressive roster of artists and friends from the jewelry community. Partita’s creative partners each boast 25+ years of experience in their field, further supporting the exceptional craftsmanship that is synonymous with Partita.
“Partita” is a musical term and refers to the sequence of variations on a theme. This idea of improvisation on a classical framework fittingly reflects Partita’s approach to custom design, creating new and unique pieces while honoring tradition in the process. Custom design is Partita’s specialty and more often than not, Calvin can be found consulting on a custom design project, bringing to life a beautiful vision and an everlasting keepsake.

Beverly and Calvin truly enjoy making people happy. When asked what her favorite piece in the store is, Beverly says it’s the piece a customer puts on that brings about a huge smile and makes them feel absolutely wonderful.
